Our Story

Ben Watts Marina was opened in 1954 by our name sake and founder by renting small fishing boats.  Today, the marina is still owned and operated by his 4th and 5th generations and has grown into a full service marina on 17 acres of property.

During the summer season, we have over 300 slips, dry storage, and also In & Out service; both self-serve and full service.  Both inside and outside storage are available during the winter months in addition to shrink wrapping, bottom washing, and winterization.

Our new boat showroom houses the latest models of Ranger fishing boats and pontoons.  We are dealers for Evinrude and Mercury engines, Torqueedo electric motors and Power Pole shallow water anchor systems.  We have a wide variety of Pre-owned boats to offer as well.

Our service department employs master certified technicians and our parts department has an extensive stock of all OEM Mercury, MerCruiser, and Evinrude/Johnson parts.

Our Launch ramp is open to the public and is the best on the chain with easy access, ample parking, and employees that go the extra mile to make sure you have all the help you need.  Chain o' Lakes Waterway Stickers are available for sale in our store for your convenience.
